Please read the entire 7th Edition ServSafe Manager Book and complete the exercises in the book before coming to class. It will help you improve your exam score.

There are 90 questions on the exam and you must score 75% to pass. If you fail the exam, you can retake the exam within 30 days which will cost $80.

The exam is based on the following categories:

D-1 Management of Food Safety Practice
D-2 Hygiene and Health
D-3 Safe Receipt, Storage and Disposition of Food
D-4 Safe Prep and Cooking Food
D-5 Safe Service and Display of Food
D-6 Cleanliness and Sanitation
D-7 Facilities and Equipment

Please bring your completed 7th Edition ServSafe Manager Book. It is mandatory you bring a photo ID with signature (e.g. driver’s license, state ID, student, ID, Employee ID, U.S. green card, or valid passport). If you signed up for exam only, please arrive at 1.30 p.m. The exam will starts at or before 2:00 p.m., and the exam must be completed within 2 hours.
